Info:
Poetry slam is a modern form of poetry competition. The poems are not simply read out, but performed – a performance that moves everyone. Sometimes thought-provoking, sometimes light-hearted and funny, and deeply moving, but emotions are always at play. A jury made up of members of the audience then judges the individual performances.
Date: Friday 4 December, from 7.30 pm. Doors open at 6.30 pm. Where? Fastnachtakademie Kitzingen. Free seating. Cost: Twelve euros.
