JAZZ AND MORE “Happy 100th Birthday, Miles Davis! featuring Hubert Winter & Martin Auer”

Like no other musician of his generation, Miles Davis transformed jazz. Over five decades, he was not only a witness to, but also a driving force behind the most significant stylistic developments – from the bebop of the 1940s through cool jazz and hard bop to modal jazz, jazz-rock fusion and the experimental sounds of his later years. His inexhaustible curiosity and his courage to innovate shaped generations of musicians.
Led by a frontline featuring trumpeter Martin Auer and Hubert Winter on saxophone, five outstanding musicians bring these creative phases to life in a new light – as a vibrant tribute to the innovator of jazz.
