How does the placement process work?
If necessary, you can contact us in writing or by telephone – we work independently and on a voluntary basis!
- We are looking for a suitable child sponsor for your family and children
- You and your children will get to know your child mentor at your own pace – the amount of time this takes can vary greatly depending on the situation
- The schedule always depends on the volunteers’ availability!
Would you like to become a Children’s Mentor?
We are looking for people with a big heart who can offer their time, empathy and patience, and who enjoy working with children and would like to volunteer.
Does this sound like you? Then get involved and become a WirKT children’s mentor! To ensure you’re as well prepared as possible for your assignments, we offer:
- Interesting, high-quality training courses leading to a certificate
- A ‘KinderPaten rucksack’ containing useful items for care visits
- Regular review and evaluation of operations
