The Children’s Rights Trail is part of the ‘Implementation of Children’s Rights in Kitzingen’ project. Children’s rights have the status of federal law in Germany, which means the town of Kitzingen is obliged to implement these rights locally.
UNICEF’s Children’s Rights are based on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the globally recognised treaty that sets out what every child needs to grow up happy, safe and healthy. The planning and design were carried out by Class 4d at St Hedwig Primary School (year group 2025/26).
Thanks to their ideas, a place has been created here where parents and children can explore this topic.
