An outdoor pool on an island in the Main? This is a reality in Kitzingen. The Kitzingen outdoor pool is located in the centre of the Mondsee island. From May to September, the pool is ideal for family outings. Sports enthusiasts can swim their laps in the 50 metre swimming pool, while the 80 metre long water slide and diving tower offer all kids and teenagers the ultimate outdoor swimming experience. Extensive sunbathing lawns under shady trees offer refreshment and leisure fun in summer.
In good weather, the outdoor pool is of course open all day from 9.00 am to 8.00 pm. The decision for continuous opening is made every morning at 10.00 am. The temperature, the probability of rain and the weather forecast for the day are taken into account. The opening of the outdoor pool is signalled by the hoisted blue and white flag.
