The museum is the only one of its kind and deals with all aspects of carnival in a lively exhibition. During the public tour, you can find out what "Helau" and "Alaaf" actually mean, what the Bütt is all about and why everything in carnival revolves around the Elf. The official museum of the Bund Deutscher Karneval e.V. is interesting for young and old and always worth a visit, even for those who are not carnival fans.
