‘Stationen’ is the name of a popular and widely watched series on Bavarian television. On Wednesday 28 October, from 7 pm, an episode will be broadcast in which people from the town and district of Kitzingen play a key role. On the topic of ‘What does home feel like?’, the BR team interviewed, amongst others, Mayor Dr Enis Tiz, master confectioner Olga Kopp from Etwashausen and the recently crowned Gardening Queen Annika Maurer. Also featured in the 30-minute programme are district heritage officer Doris Paul and members of the Dirndl Society from Markt Einersheim. The episode explores different aspects of belonging and being rooted in traditions.
