It is one of the most popular and beautiful playgrounds in Kitzingen. The area around the "Kitanic" on the banks of the Main near the fire station will soon be even more attractive: the new play equipment has already been installed.
The town council provided 20,000 euros for the expansion of the play area. A "four-beam swing", a larger swing in the shape of a boat and balancing equipment will delight the youngest inhabitants of the large district town. Two newly planted trees will provide shade in the future. The planning and realisation was carried out in-house by the civil engineering department. However, the children still have to be a little patient. The opening should take place in around four weeks - by then the freshly sown lawn will also have grown and be hard-wearing.
