Through jungStil, the town of Kitzingen is working with young people to create a town that is youth- and family-friendly. The aim is to support young people in their personal and social development and to provide them with opportunities for socialising, creativity and getting involved.
Municipal youth work supports and advises young people in their concerns, creates communication and leisure opportunities, supports initiatives, youth organisations and schools and promotes cultural and political participation. Special consideration is given to socially disadvantaged groups. Close cooperation with schools, clubs, social organisations and local politics creates a strong network for young people in Kitzingen.
